I used to drive passed Stonehenge on my way back to Devon and I used to marvel at it, but the thing you don't notice from a distance, is just how bloody big it is!

These images were taken in the summer of 2002, which is the first and last time I visited. My friend and I followed some Japanese tourists around, who took some grass from behind the fence as a souvineer I suppose. Although the grass looked identical on our side of the fence as well!

Stonehenge is the biggest and most famous stone circle, and if you're ever going to visit one, this is the one to visit. Considering the technology of the people who built it, it is quite some feat, and really does defy description, you must go see this.
