Chalice Well in Glastonbury is somewhere that I visited a number of times, and a place that I wish to go back to again and again.
The well is one of the oldest holy wells in Britain and the waters are coloured red from the iron in the bedrock, which for some people signifies the blood
of the goddess. Regardless of your religious views, this is a truly wonderful place, with beautiful gardens and a place of tranquility, healing and meditation.
