About me

I'm a qualified IT professional who has spent more than 7 years developing international websites and internet software and technology. I also have a strong and long standing interest in Paganism, magic and mysticism, and a long history of creativity and craft.

I studied Cognitive Science at Exeter University, which is the equivalent to a degree in Psychology and Computer Science. I moved to Reading for 4 years where I continued to developed my IT skills, but returned to Devon in 2003 for family reasons. I currently work as a database administrator at a Hospital in Exeter and do freelance work and craft projects.

I live in a village outside Exeter with my husband (Nov 2007) Gareth and our cat Murphy, who loves mummy and hates everybody else!

At some point in the next few years I'd like to give up the "proper" job and become a full time artist and designer but until we get enough money to buy a house I have to cram everything into the few hours I'm not exhausted after work.

I do keep scrap books of all my ideas and hopefully won't run out of time before I get to implement everything! How can anyone ever be bored - there is just so much stuff I want to do :)
